WEDNESDAY WOW – IT’S A BOY!!
Astrological similarities run in families. It is known as ‘Chart Signatures’ and this is something which has always fascinated me. Great brains, like psychiatrist Dr. Carl Jung, and Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine, were huge proponents of Astrology as a means of determining one’s character. When it comes to the Royal Family, this is very much in evidence, especially so in the birth chart of the Royal newbie, ‘Baby Sussex’. (If they asked me, I would have suggested naming him Arthur or Philip.)
The backbone, and most important elements of any birth chart, are the sun sign, rising sign, and moon sign — these three alone reveal a multitude. In the case of the newbie Little Prince, both his sun and rising signs are in stable, earthy Taurus, hence the term ‘double Taurus’ and his moon sign is in charming, airy Gemini, adding a little levity to the situation! He’ll be musical for sure!
Arthur, as I like to call this solid little man (lol) is a good astrological mix of both his parents. Lots of Yin and Yang going on within him, which is a good thing in some ways, but down the road this dichotomy within him may confuse potential amours – but that’s a long way away! Baby Sussex is quite a bag of contradictions and I predict, like his parents, will be part of a sea of change in the Monarchy. His Mum is a strong Leo, and his Dad a more placid Virgo, so it’s only natural he is going to inherit little bits of both their personalities, which is exactly what he has done! And so the story begins…
His solid Taurus sun is the part he inherited from the Windsors. Harry is a Virgo, with a moon in Taurus. In addition, Queen Elizabeth is a Taurus and Queen Victoria was born on the Taurus/Gemini cusp (sun sign Gemini). Prince Philip is a Gemini. Prince Charles has a strong moon in Taurus, and Lady Diana had a strong venus in Taurus, which she passed on to William. Two of Kate and William’s children are Taurus. At a risk of understatement, you can see, the bullish sign of Taurus flows deeply in the astrological bloodline of the British Royal family, which is why they have such tremendous staying power, despite all the ups and downs of life. Taurus is a sign of stability and traditional family values, as Queen Elizabeth has so stoically displayed in her years as a Loyal Royal. I’m a big fan of hers.
Now, let’s look at what Baby Sussex has inherited from his strong fiery American Leo Mum, Meghan. (Here enters the fun rebel part!) If he was purely all earth, it would be a problem for Meghan, as they definitely would butt heads. Both are fixed and determined signs. Fortunately for Meghan, her Little Prince has a generous amount of fire and air in his chart, just like she has. He has his mercury and venus both in the fire sign of Aries, so this will put a generous amount of oomph in his engine and help him get on well with her sun and mercury in Leo. Curiously, Queen Elizabeth also has her mercury in Aries, and she is known for her lightening quick wit.
In addition, he has both his moon and mars in Gemini, so he will be quite the orator! In fact, I predict he will WOO the world with his charm and oratorial skills. Gemini is also the sign of his Great Grandfather, Prince Philip. Queen Victoria was also born a Gemini, but born near Taurus – talk about keeping it in the family! Meghan also has her moon in an air sign, Libra, as did Lady Diana, whose moon was in Aquarius. People born with their moon sign in an air element display their emotions through conversation and curiosity.
Baby Sussex has some planets in the strong, conventional sign of Capricorn, sitting in the 10th house of career, so this young man will take his responsibilities very seriously indeed! However, his Pluto in Capricorn in the 10th house could see him bucking the system somewhat. His early childhood (behind the scenes) will be painful for him in some ways, much of which he will internalize with all that 12th house stuff going on. In the early days as he is developing, I can see him disappearing with a book under a bed! Or feeling a great need for privacy to sort out his feelings.
Talk about feelings, he has virtually no water element in his chart, so expressing his feelings is something he will find very difficult indeed. That is par for the British Royal course one must admit! And this is where the dichotomy part comes in! On the one hand, his placid Taurus ear tells him to toe the line, behave himself and be a good boy. And then his feisty, combative, Aries mercury and venus ear will tell him to b(f)uck the system, and the Fascist regime! It will be interesting to see how he marries the two voices within him. His Chiron, the pain body, is also in truth-loving, honest Aries, so clearly his area of pain will be in asserting himself, having his true voice heard. This will be a lifelong challenge for him. With so many voices within him, telling him different things, is it any wonder confusion may reign within this outwardly charming little man?
In a Royal nut shell, the Little Prince has inherited all the sass, charm, and system bucking personalities of his parents, Harry and Meghan. In addition, he carries within him all the loyalty, duty, and stability of the Windsors. He is a classic example of the synchronicity of Astrology. And the great news is, he will get on famously with his cousins, George, Charlotte, and Louis! He will definitely keep the ‘the Firm’ (as Lady Diana called it) chugging along nicely, and keep us all charmed and amused! Three out of the four current great-grandchildren are all Taurus, the same sign as Queen Elizabeth – now that is astrologically telling if ever!
Well Done and Congratulations to Harry and Meghan!
