The Pen is Mightier than the Sword!

As an aspiring writer, one of the most important attributes to develop is a thick skin. If you don’t, you will never realize your dream. Having a book out there opens the sluice gates of your heart to the world, resulting in a deluge of criticism, resentment, and differing opinions. Some folk will love your work, and encourage and support you all the way. Others will not. What is important is that you are passionate about the message you want to get out there — and just do it no matter what!

You gotta write like nobody’s reading, dance with words until they take your breath away, fluff out your chest and your tutu, and dust off the begrudgers. Somebody out there will be happy to hear what you have to say.
