LIFE IS A CABARET!

As we age, sometimes life feels more like an uphill battle, than a Cabaret. It takes determination and imagination to see past the sadness and losses of life. I have employed several methods to keep me buoyant. Prayer and Play are my greatest allies because these are things I can do for myself. It is a little precarious relying on others to make you happy. The buck begins with you.

I love dressing up, playing a part, and swopping my normal personality for one who is far more interesting and exotic. What is normal anyway? I haven’t worked that one out yet lol! I also enjoy decorating my home and welcoming in the changing seasons. It keeps the energy of the home flowing.

Halloween is one of my favourite holidays. It is Fiesta time for the Pisces performer in me! Besides, the end of October is a powerful time astrologically speaking. How do you express your individuality? Do you like to dress up? Decorate your home? Move things around? Keep the energy flowing? Love to hear!

Diner en Blanc is an annual event which was launched in Paris in 1988 by Francois Pasquier and his close friends. It has now become a worldwide phenomenon. I look forward to it every year. What a great excuse to dress up. But it has to be white – all white!! And it is tres elegant!

St. Patrick’s Day! What a fabulous excuse to dress up. But it has to be green! Like the fields of Ireland, I have forty shades of green in my wardrobe!

This past Halloween, I opted for a silver blue wig. Lulu liked it too!
