ARIES – STARLET OF THE MONTH!
ARIES (March 21 – April 19)
“Some of us are becoming the men we wanted to marry.” — Gloria Steinem
The symbol for Aries suggests the ram’s horns, or a plant shooting up from the earth. In its journey through the zodiac, Aries is the first of the 12 signs (just as well because they couldn’t bear to be second!) The image of a plant shooting up from the earth signifies the individual emerging from collective darkness, full of the joys of Spring, and ready for the adventures of life. Curiously, you’ll often identify an Aries female by her high arched brows similar to the image of a ram’s horns. A perfect example of what I mean is the late great Bette Davis.
Aries is a masculine, cardinal, fire, sign. Ruled by Mars, these Divas have a superabundance of energy and drive. As a Fire sign, they can be pretty feisty! You don’t mess with Ms. Aries, and you certainly don’t fence her in! She values her space and independence. Being such a strong formidable character, she often marries men who are weaker and more compliant. She can be impulsive in love, which is why the Aries female divorce rate is high.
Ms. Aries is tireless in pursuit of her goals and undeterred by obstacles. Similar to Taurus, she has a stubborn determined nature. Ruled by the head, she is frequently accused of being headstrong. The head is a sensitive area for Aries, so she should always wear head protection when playing dangerous sports.
Concerned with objectives and the big picture, Ms. Aries gets mighty impatient with small details and does not suffer fools gladly! Her motto in life is ‘Actions speak louder than words’. Another one she likes is ‘The harder I work, the luckier I get’.
Words to describe the Aries happy side are:
Assertive, Bold, Energetic, Honest, Confident, Enterprising, Generous, Impulsive, Ambitious, Adventurous, Initiating, Organizing, and Responsible.
And the Shadow side, because we all have one!
Aggressive, Argumentative, Boastful, Bossy, Egotistical, Hasty, Impatient, Overbearing, Rude, Thoughtless.
Aries women, like their male counterparts, are warriors at heart. When the going gets tough, these dynamos get going! Look at the classic archetypal Aries women such as Maya Angelou, Celine Dion, Bette Davis, Victoria Beckham, Gloria Steinem, and Diana Ross, to name but a successful kick-ass few!
The colours red and white look glorious on these strong characters. They wear diamonds like nobody else can do and they usually buy them for themselves! Being ruled by the head, Aries women look amazing with head ornamentation, such as scarves, elegant chapeaus, feathers, bows, bands – anything that draws attention to their gorgeous, strong and expressive faces.
Here is how I would dress you! Some images I chose from Pinterest.

Hugs,

I really enjoyed reading your blog. I know it was hard for you to give some things away. It will be for me as well. I may have thought things were beautiful and I had to have them. Sure some I really like and will keep for now or give to my daughter. She can use some of them on her farm. Your closet organization hit home to me. I have so many clothes. I dressed well at the bank. Now I also have to purge. It will be hard but in the end neater and easier to maintain. I shop out of boredom as well. I have no cable TV etc.I sat down and thought when I go my kids would probably only want half the stuff.I gave quite a few household things away lately. Some to my new Family in Eureka, Montana. 2 years ago Brandy ‘s trailer caught on fire. It was near her parents house and then caught the parents deck on fire and house. They had no insurance so now live in an older trailer. Brandy and Karianne’s son Charlie have a son Colt together. Every time I go down I take them things. I pretty well buy most of the kids clothes. Toys. Books. Etc.Last week a family on the next street to me had a house fire so will give them some kitchen ware.
I am kind of rusty on the Astrology. Gemini is not mentioned at all this time.
I worked at the bank with Peggy for a couple of years. Her husband passed away a couple of years ago. She invited me out of the blue to the concert Foreigner. It was fun. We have talked on the phone a few times since. I asked her what is on your bucket list to travel too. We then said it at the same time and both said Scotland and Ireland. My Mom’s Mom was Annie Angus and her Dad William Johnston Rinn. Her maiden name was McDonald.
When would the best time to go and which cities. I know I would like to see Isle of Skye where my Family came from and Edinburgh. Of course Dublin. Antrim and Londondary where they came from.
Sorry I rattled on.I always get carried away. Love your blogs. Keep them coming Please.
Thanks for all the comments Barbie! Glad you enjoy my blogs. I like visiting Ireland in the Spring and Summer time. September is also very nice and the weather is usually very pleasant. Scotland usually has similar weather to us too. I’m still de-cluttering! It’s amazing the amount of stuff we accumulate!!
